    Pros:
It keeps the tips of my toes toasty when I’m walking two miles in ten below.

    Cons:
They’re so high and rigid that they dig into you when you try to bend your ankles (as necessary for ordinary walking, stairs, or rough terrain). Also something about the slope of the insole keeps shifting my feet so that the shoe starts putting uncomfortable pressure on the inner sides of my big toes.

I would wear these if I had to walk a short distance once in a while in extremely cold weather, but they are no good for commuting on foot because of the cons described above. There’s no reason to make the tops rigid.

I’m a big fan of Merrell shoes, I have 4-5 pairs of them and they are the most comfortable shoes around. The Snomotion 6’s are no different, you would never know you where wearing a pair of boots, they’re that comfortable! I have worn them while hiking and they’re like wearing sneakers. Very warm too!

This Boots are Awesome!! Very comfortable, warm and most importantly laces do not untie very easy as much of the other boots would do. However I totally agree with other reviewers regarding getting these boots one size larger as you would do. I use 8 1/2 shoes but ordered 9 1/2 and fits perfect.
